About Shopdoc’s founder

Anne-Marie is a bit of a hybrid, bridging the gap between business intelligence, sales and marketing teams. She is in her element when working with multi-functional teams to uncover insights that will inform and propell sales and growth initiatives.

Anne-Marie Docherty

Principal Consultant

With more than 25 years of experience in the food industry, Anne-Marie is an accomplished Senior Sales and Insights Leader with a focus in shopper-marketing and corporate strategy.

Anne-Marie has a solid track record of contributions with small, medium and large tier one organizations that have been both private and public. Prior to launching Shopdoc, she was part of PepsiCo for 17 years where she achieved success through a number of roles across both Canadian Food and Beverage divisions. Reporting directly to the Presidents of PepsiCo Beverages Canada and PepsiCo Foods Canada, she led the company’s focus on accelerating growth and furthering their competitive advantage across the beverages and foods portfolios, growing their shared PepsiCo baskets by over 1 million trips!

Notable other roles include Director of Customer Development for the Frito Lay business with UGI Group and Director of Shopper Insights for PepsiCo Canada. Prior to PepsiCo, Anne-Marie worked for McCain Foods and HighLiner Foods in Senior Sales roles and partnered with both Sobeys and Loblaw Companies Limited.
